Beef Stir Fry Noodles

A quick and flavorful beef stir fry noodles dish with tender strips of beef, fresh vegetables, and noodles tossed in a savory stir fry sauce.

  • 8 oz beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz egg noodles or rice noodles
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional for thickening)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil to make the stir fry sauce.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 2–3 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  5. In the same pan, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  6. Add carrot, bell pepper, and broccoli; stir fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  7. Return beef to the pan, add cooked noodles, and pour in the sauce mixture.
  8. Toss everything together until evenly coated. Add cornstarch slurry if you want a thicker sauce.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with chopped green onions.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute beef with chicken, shrimp, or tofu.
  • Use fresh noodles for the best texture.
  • Add chili flakes or sriracha for extra heat.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
