- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Extra berries and basil, for garnish (optional)
- In a blender, combine the fresh berries, basil leaves, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove seeds and pulp.
- Stir in the sugar until dissolved.
- Add the cold water and mix well.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors infuse.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional berries and basil if desired.
