- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 2 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1–2 tbsp honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
- Lemon slices (optional, for garnish)
- In a small bowl or glass, muddle the blackberries with lemon juice and honey or sugar until well combined and juicy.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a glass to remove the seeds, if desired.
- Fill a serving glass with ice cubes.
- Pour the blackberry-lemon mixture over the ice.
- Top with sparkling water or club soda and stir gently.
- Garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy chilled.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey/sugar.
- Can be made ahead without the soda and chilled, then add soda before serving.
