- 4 cups strawberries, hulled and halved
- 4 cups raspberries
- 4 cups diced watermelon
- 4 cups diced apples or bananas (for white section)
- 4 cups mini marshmallows or peeled lychees (for white section, optional)
- 1–2 cups diced red grapes or cherries
- Wash and prepare all fruits by hulling, peeling, or dicing as needed.
- On a large rectangular serving tray, arrange strawberries, raspberries, and watermelon pieces on the left third to create the left red bar of the flag.
- Fill the middle third of the tray with white fruits such as apples, bananas, lychees, or marshmallows to form the white center of the flag.
- Use additional red fruits in the middle to create a maple leaf shape (you can cut a template for guidance).
- Arrange the remaining red fruits on the right third of the tray to complete the right red bar of the flag.
- Refrigerate until ready to serve and present chilled.
Notes
- Brush sliced apples or bananas with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- You can substitute with other red fruits like pomegranate seeds or strawberries for variation.
- A maple leaf cookie cutter can help shape watermelon or strawberry slices for the center design.
