Cheeseburger Pasta

A hearty and comforting one-pan dish combining the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with creamy pasta for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz (225 g) uncooked pasta (elbow macaroni or similar)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  3. Stir in diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Add pasta, beef broth, milk, and diced tomatoes. Stir to combine.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes until pasta is tender.
  6. Stir in ketchup, mustard, and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • Add pickles or pickle relish for extra cheeseburger flavor.
  • Top with extra cheese before serving for more richness.
