Cherry Chocolate Chip Blondies

Deliciously soft and chewy blondies packed with cherries and chocolate chips, perfect for satisfying sweet cravings.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1½ cups brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup fresh or dried cherries, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until a batter forms.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips and chopped cherries.
  7. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  9. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • You can substitute dried cherries if fresh cherries are not available.
  • For extra flavor, sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top before baking.
  • Store blondies in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
