Chocolate Bark

Chocolate bark is a simple, delicious treat made by melting chocolate and topping it with a variety of ingredients such as nuts, dried fruits, seeds, or candies. It’s perfect for holiday gifts or everyday snacking.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate (about 12 oz)
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds (toasted optional)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  4. Sprinkle chopped almonds, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, and sea salt over the top.
  5. Lightly press the toppings into the chocolate to ensure they stick.
  6. Refrigerate for 30–60 minutes or until fully set.
  7. Break into pieces and serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes

  • You can customize toppings with any nuts, seeds, or dried fruits you prefer.
  • White or milk chocolate can be used instead of dark chocolate.
  • Store in a cool, dry place for up to 2 weeks.
