- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
- Stir in the pecans and pour the mixture into the prepared crust.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, until the center is set and the pie is golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Cover the edges of the crust with foil halfway through baking if they brown too quickly.
- The pie will continue to set as it cools.
- Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for extra indulgence.
