- ½ cup breadcrumbs (such as Panko)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 large chicken breasts (boneless, skinless, cut in half horizontally)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (4 tablespoons)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ cup chicken broth (low sodium)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- In a shallow plate, combine parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Dredge chicken breasts in the mixture and shake off excess.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter over low heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden and cooked through, about 5–6 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
- Wipe skillet clean if needed. Add remaining butter, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes; cook about 30 seconds until aromatic.
- Deglaze pan with chicken broth, then stir in heavy cream. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Return chicken to skillet and simmer 1 minute to warm through. Spoon sauce over chicken and serve immediately.

- Customize with additional seasonings like nutmeg, extra red pepper flakes, spinach, or broccoli.
- For a thicker sauce, add 1 tablespoon flour after melting butter, whisk, cook 30 seconds, then proceed.
