Espresso Mocha Fudge Ice Cream is a rich, creamy dessert with a delightful combination of espresso, chocolate, and fudge flavors, creating the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
  • 2 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 cup fudge sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk and heavy cream over medium heat until warm, but not boiling.
  2. Whisk in sugar, espresso powder, and salt until dissolved.
  3. Add the chopped dark chocolate to the mixture and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Let the mixture cool to room temperature before transferring it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. Once chilled, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  7. In the last few minutes of churning, drizzle in the fudge sauce for a swirled effect.
  8. Transfer the ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up before serving.

Notes

  • If you don’t have an ice cream maker, you can freeze the mixture in a container, stirring every 30 minutes until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency.
  • For extra richness, use a high-quality dark chocolate.
  • You can adjust the amount of fudge sauce based on how chocolatey you want the ice cream to be.
