Honeycomb Toffee Crunch

Crunchy, golden honeycomb toffee with a light, airy texture, perfect for snacking or gifting.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, honey, and water. Heat gently until sugar dissolves, then increase heat to medium-high and boil until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  3. Remove pan from heat, quickly whisk in baking soda—the mixture will foam up immediately.
  4. Quickly pour onto the prepared baking sheet and allow it to cool completely.
  5. Break into bite-sized pieces and enjoy or store in an airtight container.

  • Use caution when handling hot sugar syrup, as it can cause severe burns.
  • Store honeycomb toffee in an airtight container to keep crisp.
