Iced Rose Matcha Latte

A refreshing and floral twist on the classic iced matcha latte, combining the earthy flavor of matcha with the delicate sweetness of rose syrup, served over ice.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 tablespoon rose syrup
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Ice cubes
  • Dried rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until smooth and no lumps remain.
  2. Add the rose syrup to a glass filled with ice.
  3. Pour in the milk over the ice and rose syrup.
  4. Slowly pour the matcha mixture over the milk to create a layered effect.
  5. Stir before drinking if desired, and garnish with dried rose petals if using.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of rose syrup to taste for more or less sweetness.
  • Use a milk frother to froth the milk before adding for a creamier texture.
  • For best results, sift the matcha powder before whisking to prevent clumps.
