Individual Apple Crisp Oatmeal

A warm and comforting single-serving apple crisp made with tender baked apples, sweet cinnamon, and a crunchy oat topping. Perfect for a quick dessert or cozy breakfast treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a small oven-safe ramekin.
  2. Toss diced apple with lemon juice, brown sugar, and half of the cinnamon. Place mixture into the ramekin.
  3. In a small bowl, combine oats, flour, remaining cinnamon, salt, melted butter, and honey or maple syrup until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over the apples.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
  6. Serve warm, optionally with yogurt, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  • You can use quick oats if you don’t have rolled oats.
  • Adjust sweetness with more or less sugar or honey.
  • Add a pinch of nutmeg for extra warmth.
  • Recipe can be doubled or tripled easily for more servings.
