Lavender Honey Latte

A soothing and aromatic latte made with floral lavender and sweet honey, perfect for a calming morning or afternoon treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or more to taste)
  • 1 shot espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • Optional: dried lavender buds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the milk and dried lavender. Heat over medium heat until it starts to steam, but do not boil.
  2. Remove from heat and let the lavender steep in the milk for about 5 minutes.
  3. Strain the milk to remove the lavender buds and return the milk to the saucepan.
  4. Add honey to the milk and stir until fully dissolved. Heat gently if needed.
  5. Brew the espresso or coffee and pour it into a mug.
  6. Froth the lavender honey milk using a frother or whisk until it’s foamy.
  7. Pour the milk over the coffee, holding back the foam with a spoon, then spoon the foam on top.
  8. Garnish with a few dried lavender buds if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use food-grade lavender only to ensure safety and best flavor.
  • Adjust honey to taste depending on desired sweetness.
  • Can be made dairy-free by using oat, almond, or soy milk.
