- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- 2 black tea bags (or green tea for a lighter flavor)
- 2–4 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
- Ice cubes, for serving
- Fresh lavender sprigs or lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Remove from heat and add the dried lavender and tea bags.
- Cover and steep for 5–10 minutes, depending on desired strength.
- Strain the tea to remove lavender and tea bags.
- Stir in honey or sugar while the tea is still warm. Add lemon juice if using.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lavender sprigs or lemon slices if desired.
