- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice.
- Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Brush the maple glaze generously over the salmon.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork, brushing with additional glaze halfway through cooking.
- Serve warm, drizzling any remaining glaze from the pan over the fillets.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the maple glaze for 15–30 minutes before baking.
- This dish pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad.
- Use real maple syrup for the best taste, not pancake syrup.
