Maple-Glazed Salmon

A tender, flaky salmon fillet glazed with a sweet and savory maple sauce, perfect for a quick yet elegant dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice.
  3. Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the maple glaze generously over the salmon.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork, brushing with additional glaze halfway through cooking.
  6. Serve warm, drizzling any remaining glaze from the pan over the fillets.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the maple glaze for 15–30 minutes before baking.
  • This dish pairs beautifully with roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad.
  • Use real maple syrup for the best taste, not pancake syrup.
