- 12 large marshmallows
- 12 lollipop sticks or paper straws
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips (or candy melts)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
- 1/2 cup sprinkles, crushed cookies, or toppings of choice
- Insert a lollipop stick or paper straw into each marshmallow.
- Melt the chocolate chips (with coconut oil if using) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each marshmallow halfway or fully into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
- Immediately decorate with sprinkles, crushed cookies, or toppings of choice.
- Place the pops upright in a styrofoam block or lay on parchment paper to set.
- Let them sit at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is firm.
Notes
- Use colored candy melts for themed parties or holidays.
- These can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
