Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 large marshmallows
  • 12 lollipop sticks or paper straws
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips (or candy melts)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles, crushed cookies, or toppings of choice

Instructions

  1. Insert a lollipop stick or paper straw into each marshmallow.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips (with coconut oil if using) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Dip each marshmallow halfway or fully into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  4. Immediately decorate with sprinkles, crushed cookies, or toppings of choice.
  5. Place the pops upright in a styrofoam block or lay on parchment paper to set.
  6. Let them sit at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate is firm.

Notes

  • Use colored candy melts for themed parties or holidays.
  • These can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
  • Try drizzling white chocolate for a decorative finish.
