Mini Sliders

Mini sliders are small, flavorful burgers perfect for parties, game days, or quick family dinners. They’re customizable, easy to assemble, and fun to eat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend preferred)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 8 mini slider buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 1 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
  • Pickles, sliced (optional)
  • Ketchup and mustard (optional)
  • Shredded lettuce (optional)
  • Sliced tomatoes (optional)
  • Diced onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Divide into 8 equal portions and shape into small patties.
  3. Cook the patties for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach desired doneness.
  4. In the last minute of cooking, place half a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  5. While patties are cooking, butter the slider buns and toast them on a skillet or grill until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the sliders by placing each patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun, then add desired toppings such as pickles, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and onions.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute beef with ground turkey or plant-based patties for dietary preferences.
  • Sliders can be prepped ahead and cooked just before serving.
  • Use a cookie cutter to cut cheese slices into perfect mini shapes.
