Mocha Maple Cappuccino

A cozy and indulgent Mocha Maple Cappuccino combining the rich flavors of espresso, cocoa, and maple syrup, topped with frothy milk.

  • 1 shot (1 oz) espresso or 1/4 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Whipped cream or milk foam, for topping (optional)
  • Cocoa powder or cinnamon, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew the espresso or strong coffee and pour it into a mug.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling. Alternatively, microwave the milk until hot.
  3. Whisk in the cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined and frothy.
  4. Pour the hot cocoa-milk mixture over the espresso.
  5. Top with whipped cream or milk foam if desired, and sprinkle with cocoa powder or cinnamon.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • You can use any type of milk, including almond, oat, or soy.
  • Adjust the sweetness by changing the amount of maple syrup.
  • For a stronger chocolate flavor, add more cocoa powder.
