One Pan Kielbasa and Potatoes

A hearty one-pan skillet meal featuring smoky kielbasa, tender potatoes, onions and peppers, ready in just over 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 6 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 pounds smoked kielbasa sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the potatoes, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are almost tender and lightly browned, about 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in the kielbasa, onions, and peppers. Cover and cook until the onions and peppers are softened and the sausage is heated through, about 5 minutes.
  3. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, stir in 1 teaspoon smoked paprika or Cajun seasoning along with the sausage.
  • Use sweet or spicy kielbasa to adjust the heat level.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
