Peach Iced Tea

A refreshing summer beverage made by infusing black tea with juicy peaches, perfect for cooling down on hot days.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 3 black tea bags
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar (optional, to taste)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • Additional peach slices (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add the tea bags and sliced peaches. Remove from heat and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Remove the tea bags and strain out the peach slices.
  4. Add sugar to the hot tea and stir until dissolved. Adjust sweetness to taste.
  5. Pour in 1 cup of cold water to cool the tea slightly.
  6. Refrigerate the tea for at least 1-2 hours until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice with fresh peach slices and mint leaves, if desired.

Notes

  • You can use green tea instead of black tea for a lighter flavor.
  • Adjust the sweetness depending on the ripeness of your peaches.
  • For stronger peach flavor, blend and strain fresh peaches into the tea.
