Peanut Butter Banana Bliss Ice Cream

A creamy, indulgent ice cream made with peanut butter and bananas, perfect for a sweet treat that combines rich flavors and a smooth texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled and frozen
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
  • 1/2 cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional, for added crunch)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the frozen bananas and peanut butter. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the milk, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Continue blending until well combined.
  3. If you prefer some texture, stir in the chopped peanuts at this point.
  4. Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
  5. Before serving, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly.

Notes

  • For a creamier texture, you can use full-fat coconut milk or heavy cream instead of regular milk.
  • This ice cream can be stored in the freezer for up to 1-2 weeks.
  • If you prefer a sweeter ice cream, feel free to adjust the amount of honey or maple syrup.
