Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Treats

Chewy, crunchy, and sweet peanut butter rice krispie treats made with marshmallows and a rich peanut butter flavor, perfect for a no-bake dessert or snack.

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 10 oz (1 bag) mini marshmallows
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Add the peanut butter and stir until smooth.
  4. Add the mini marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until fully melted and combined with the peanut butter mixture.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  6. Quickly add the Rice Krispies cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press evenly using a greased spatula or wax paper.
  8. Let cool completely at room temperature, then cut into squares and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, drizzle melted chocolate on top before cutting.
  • If you like a firmer treat, add an extra 1/2 cup of Rice Krispies.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
