Pizza Bagels

A quick and easy snack or meal made by topping bagels with pizza sauce, cheese, and your favorite toppings, then baking until melty and golden.

Ingredients

  • 4 plain bagels, sliced in half
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni (optional)
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place bagel halves cut-side up on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread 1–2 tablespoons of pizza sauce over each bagel half.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce.
  5. Add desired toppings such as pepperoni, olives, and bell peppers.
  6. Sprinkle with dried oregano.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use mini bagels for a bite-sized version.
  • For a healthier twist, use whole wheat bagels.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like cheddar or provolone.
