Rose Milk Pudding Cups

Rose Milk Pudding Cups are a delicate and fragrant dessert made with milk, rose syrup, and a gelling agent like agar agar or gelatin. Perfect for warm weather, they are light, creamy, and beautifully pink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup rose syrup
  • 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 1/2 tsp agar agar powder (or 1 tbsp agar agar flakes)
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder (optional)
  • Chopped pistachios or rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, add milk and sugar. Heat gently until the sugar is dissolved, but do not boil.
  2. Add agar agar and stir continuously. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the agar agar is completely dissolved.
  3. Turn off the heat and mix in rose syrup and cardamom powder (if using).
  4. Strain the mixture to remove any lumps and ensure smoothness.
  5. Pour into small pudding cups or molds and let it cool to room temperature.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until fully set.
  7. Garnish with chopped pistachios or rose petals before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of sugar or rose syrup.
  • You can use gelatin instead of agar agar if not vegetarian.
  • Serve chilled for best flavor and texture.
