- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes, as needed
- Lemon slices and strawberry halves, for garnish (optional)
- In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
- Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
- In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry puree, lemon juice, and sugar.
- Stir in cold water until well mixed.
- Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if needed.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and strawberry halves if desired.
Notes
- For a fizzy version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
- Use honey or agave syrup instead of sugar for a natural sweetener.
- Frozen strawberries can be used if fresh are not available — thaw before blending.
