Strawberry Lemonade

A refreshing and tangy homemade strawberry lemonade made with fresh strawberries, lemon juice, and a touch of sweetness — perfect for summer days.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Lemon slices and strawberry halves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
  2. Strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry puree, lemon juice, and sugar.
  4. Stir in cold water until well mixed.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if needed.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and strawberry halves if desired.

Notes

  • For a fizzy version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
  • Use honey or agave syrup instead of sugar for a natural sweetener.
  • Frozen strawberries can be used if fresh are not available — thaw before blending.
