Strawberry Mango Iced Tea

A refreshing and fruity iced tea made with fresh strawberries, ripe mangoes, and brewed black tea, perfect for hot summer days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 large ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional, to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan.
  2. Remove from heat and steep the black tea bags for 5-7 minutes. Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.
  3. In a blender, combine strawberries and mango pieces. Blend until smooth.
  4. Strain the fruit puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove pulp (optional).
  5. Add the cooled tea, honey or sugar (if using), and lemon juice to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours until chilled.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • You can adjust the sweetness to taste using more or less honey/sugar.
  • For a fizzier version, replace part of the tea with sparkling water before serving.
  • Use green tea instead of black tea for a lighter flavor.
